Summary: Seven college friends from 4 New England states gathered to visit locations used in Louise Penny’s Gamache series. The location was perfect. We all met 59 years ago so comfort and convenience were important to us. The house is just a short block from the Main Street in Waterloo -restaurants, pastry shops, gas stations and banking were all nearby. The house itself was historic and lovely with all modern conveniences as well as period charm. Alain met us on arrival - even assisted with unloading our cars (good off street parking) and explaining how everything works. Excellent stay and would highly recommend.

Summary: We booked this beautiful home for 8 days for a special family reunion of 8 people + the occasional visiting family. Alain (our host) was an excellent communicator from our interest in booking, throughout and towards our closure. Our experience was made possible through his welcoming and thoughtful home touches for an inter-generational gathering (with the youngest being 6 months to our eldest in their mid 70s). We spent so much time in the kitchen and were able to create great memories over food and enjoy together in the wonderful dining room. The bedrooms were very comfortable, clean and thoughtful. Everything we needed was there, and more! Great BBQ and hot tub too! It was a 5 star experience and we would love to come back! We’d like to do a heritage tour next time with Alain as well. The history in the home and neighbour is rich. Un grand merci à Alain pour tous!

Summary: Les Matins de Victoria is a real gem. We rented the entire house for a family Christmas gathering and loved it! It had everything we needed, and the hosts were extremely attentive and accomodating. Each room has its own character and charm, the details thoughtful and considerate. The kitchen was well stocked. The dining area was large enough to accomodate a big group and very comfortable. We loved the extra bonus of the hot tub. We can't say enough good things about this house and were pleasantly surprised to find it even better than we'd imagined. Thank you to Alain and Ann for providing such a wonderful space for a family to celebrate and reunite.
